UMAH D'KALI PRIVATE VILLA is located in the cultural village of Kasongan, just 10 minutes from the center of YOGYAKARTA (less than 3 km).

Nestled along the edge of a river in the middle of lush vegetation, Umah D’Kali offers more than a place to stay, a unique experience of life in the midst of nature.

The villa (1.300m2) can accommodate from 2 until 16 people with his 4 bungalows (for a total of 7 rooms). They are characterized by their highest possible comfort and tropical luxury.

The Villas are a modern fusion of different eastern influences. It’s an artistic masterpiece offering spaces that will not only provide the greatest comfort but will also inspire and enrich your journey.

The enchanting and colorful floral garden with his pristine and large swimming pool put a final touch to a sophisticated architecture and decorative harmony.

UMAH D’KALI YOUR PRIVATE VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL

When you book UMAH D'KALI you have the full property for you and your family or group. You can be from 2 to 16 people and use one or several villas according to your number of people. The property has 3 villas for 4 people and 1 villas for 2 people. You will have your private swimming pool and private use of other parts (Joglo, kitchen and garden). Our staff is there for maintenance and support if necessary.

LOCALISATION

At only 3 kilometres from Yogyakarta city you will have the opportunity to stay in a quiet traditional village, Kasongan surrounded by rice fields and wooded hills.

We are located at 1 hour from the new Yogyakarta International Airport. The train station (Tugu) is at 15 minutes only). Center town (Sultan Palace and Malioboro street) can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes.

Temples are out from Yogyakarta. Plan 1h30 to go to Borobudur and 45 minutes to Prambanan.

Designed individually, each villa presents its own enchanting decor and theme. All materials incorporated into the villas were thoughtfully picked for a specific reason to present you with a wonderful, blissful experience.

The furniture and artefacts of the house constitute a good collection because it is a personal collection .... the objects are companions, and if we pretend to live with them, they must be pleasant to us

The villas have a view on the lush vegetation surrounding the banks as well as immediate access to the swimming pool with wooden decking and sun loungers.

OUR STORY

After 2 years of fulfilling work, Umah D’ Kali (« the house of the river » in Javanese) became a magical place carefully renovated and modernized while maintaining the Javanese architecture codes.

During this renovation the idea came to open the doors and make it a place of residence. But not a hotel or a traditional guesthouse ........ an encounter with the hosts and the spirit of Yogyakarta culture: refined and attentive service, contact with the country and his people.
